Sanjeev, son of international arms-dealer Suresh Nanda and grandson of former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nanda, had expressly been forbidden to drive after attending a party. Unfortunately for his victims, he did. Sanjeev mowed down seven people (including two cops) in the early hours of January 10 in Delhi's Lodhi Colony: Five were instantly crushed to death under his BMW, one died later in hospital, and one was critically injured.

I would like to ask a question how did the Son of a former Naval Chief end up being an Arms dealer. Sorry for the diversion.

So master Nanda with his equally drunk friend drove away to the bungalow of friends financier father. The father and his staff washed of any evidence of blood and guts from the car. In any other democratic country this itself is two offense one is driving away from the scene instead of helping the victims and second destruction of evidence. The father should be jail as it was an willful attempt at destruction of evidence.

The other details of the events can be read else where on the web like young Nanda was driving only at 140 km/h and it is more pedestrians fault etc. Then daddy dearest got fancy lawyers who have used a lot of legal jargon to confuse and confude the issue. As usual is the case in India when it is rich and famous you can do what you want. Who the fuck cares for the average guy? After all the country has plenty of them everywhere.

As all this is going on the witness to the event started turning hostile and lawyers the friendly folk that they are started working together to get a resolution to the vexed problem of poor nanda not being free. So they decided to buy the remaining witness.

The NDTV scam has exposed the naked intent of this men in power we will have a farce carried out in name of enquiry which ofcourse never surface. Why dont we right two set of laws one for average joe and other for rich and famous.? Why have this farce of justice and waste public funds?
